General Summary: Assist the Technology department and support the Firm in maximizing the usage of software applications and tools. This includes training employees as well as facilitating the implementation of new and existing software applications subject to departmental needs and established IS guidelines. Work cohesively with team members, supervisors, attorneys and staff to provide efficient and superior customer service.
Conduct training classes for all new hire employees, staff and attorneys, on software applications specific to their position.
Research and resolve employee questions related to software applications and systems in a timely manner.
Assist in the planning, customization and implementation of new software and software upgrades. This includes testing new software and making recommendations to ensure compatibility with current systems, working with affected department supervisors to resolve implementation concerns, and coordinating rollout with IT and Director of IT.
Provide monthly software training on existing software programs as well as customized training for individuals as instructed by department supervisors.
Assist in developing class outlines and instructional materials used in training classes. Maintain and update all educational materials, including the video training library and software resources on KMOBNet.
Identify potential software needs and necessary improvements.
Investigate software solution options available.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Previous law firm experience is preferred.
Prior experience in planning and implementation of software upgrades is desireable.
Excellent computer skills: proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Interwoven products, including Filesite/iManage is preferred.
Able to learn and willing to try new technologies.
Able to analyze and solve technical issues.
Able to conduct group training sessions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly and diplomatically interface with all personnel.
Must be efficient, accurate, flexible, timely, organized and have excellent attention to detail.Team player and a positive attitude is a must.
Must meet minimum testing requirements.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
