This position is located in the Baltimore – Mt. Washington office. Your standard work schedule will be 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Relocation to be offered according to the firm's policy.
The IT department partners with DLA Piper management, lawyers and internal business units to devise and deploy solutions that improve the quality of the legal services we deliver to our clients as well as the efficiency of our firm’s business operations.
What will your day look like? In this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of enterprise voice, video, audio and web conferencing systems. The Video/Voice Collaboration Engineer is the first escalation point in resolving technical issues as well as providing support for our technicians, trainers, Help Desk and end users.
You will also implement and coordinate internal and external client use of video conferencing systems/applications and participate in maintenance activities for all unified communications infrastructure and systems, and monitor and report usage on systems such as CDR, TMS, RMS, and Collaboration Manager.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
2 years with Cisco Unified Communication products such as IP Telephony, Telepresence, Tandberg and Polycom and other 3rd-party presence solutions, including Lync/ S4B
Strong understanding of Collaboration technologies, VOIP, video, network infrastructure and applications
Experience with Securelogix, LiveAction, Prognosis and V-Brick
Strong communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
