We are currently seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst within the Information Services (IS) department in our downtown Cleveland office. This position serves as project manager and business analyst for IS applications development projects, software package implementations, and infrastructure projects and includes project plan definition and management, requirements definition and refinement, stakeholder communications, change management, and quality assurance.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage IS department projects including scope and requirements definitions through project deliverables.
Develop detailed business and technical requirements as appropriate, including needs analysis, requirements identification, proof of concepts/prototypes and other documentation.
Conduct quality assurance and functionality testing of system implementations.
Develop and maintain internal (Firm) relationships with administrative departments and lawyer practice groups.
Preparation and presentation on requested status or other reports.
Stay current in Project Management methodologies, including Agile, and work with department leadership to evaluate and implement appropriate techniques.
Coordinate resources within the IS department to meet deadlines and requests.
Contribute to an environment for rapid deployment.
Improve and expand content quality and operating efficiency including establishing and maintaining standards as well as content development.
Provide technical training, support, and assistance relative to system implementations.
Work with third party organizations and manage outsourced work.
Adapt to new technologies and /or add new job duties as directed.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and a minimum of five years project management experience in an IS/IT environment. Ideal candidates will have a PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) and/or Certified Scrum Master. Must be experienced in technical project management including the efficient use of project process tools such as Microsoft Project, Eclipse, or Visio. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010 or 2012 is necessary. Must have thorough understanding of project management methodology and process phases: discovery, design, construction, implementation and close out. Experience with Agile software development methodologies and web-related product development is needed.
