The Conflict Analyst will perform all aspects of conflict checking by monitoring and triaging all new conflict search requests including lateral-hire conflict checks. This position will prepare conflict of interest reports by verifying the status of the firm’s relationship to outside entities and individuals. The Conflict Analyst will provide interpretation of the information contained in conflict of interest reports and recommend follow-up action to attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries.
Prepare conflict of interest searches by applying the rules and guidance of the Conflicts Steering Committee and recommend follow-up action to attorneys, paralegals and secretaries.
Process returned conflict checks for existing client-matter numbers.
Audit outstanding conflict checks logs. Delete unreturned reports via established retention guidelines.
Conduct related party data clean-up projects to facilitate streamlined reporting.
Assist firm employees with NBI processes and general conflict questions.
Research existing representations for incoming attorneys.
Provide securities trading clearances and follow-up actions.
Assist with ongoing large data manipulation projects that will streamline the reporting of data.
Support other Firm-wide projects, as needed.

Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in related discipline required. Business or English degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in similar field required. Previous conflict analyst experience in legal environment preferred.
Intapp Open conflict software and/or Elite Enterprise experience preferred.
