Foster Pepper PLLC, one of the Pacific Northwest's leading law firms, is looking for an Enterprise Application Administrator working within the I.T. department to define and develop solutions for the firm’s technology needs. Principally responsible for the administration of the firm’s iManage document management system, the development of the firm's desktop and laptop images, and the customization, configuration and troubleshooting of software applications to fit the firm’s goals and to integrate other applications into the firm’s technology platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for administering the firm’s iManage Document Management System and integrated software products from iManage partners
Performs second level user support for issues related to iManage, including troubleshooting, document import and export requests, matter-centric workspace requests, and permissions issues
Monitors iManage and other key systems’ performance and storage utilization and assists with planning ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades.
Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, documenting and maintaining enterprise applications, including upgrades and assessing new technology for the firm.
Works with other IT groups to ensure the environment is fully utilizing the available technology to enhance productivity and improve work processes.
Works to ensure each system’s adherence to security requirements and performance in coexistence with security tools
Documents current and new systems and operations for use within the firm
Assumes management responsibility for the analysis, evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of complex computer software applications
Develops and manages workstation operating system and application deployment
Responsible for workstation software and systems upgrades, implements system changes through automation, process change, management solutions, and training
Tests application function and interoperability. Conducts diagnostic investigations of program errors and implements or recommends solutions or methodologies for resolution
Checks critical network applications to ensure systems are online and available
Deals with local area networks, connectivity, and computer security. Works closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to coordinate upgrades, patching, scaling, and troubleshooting
Leads and directs various projects and upgrades, develops project time lines, identifies tasks and procedures
Researches and analyzes new hardware and software solutions that will enhance support, data systems, and department communication
Develops written documentation of application implementation and procedures for administrators and users
Assists in the department budget process
Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director of I.T. and/or the I.T. Manager.
Customizes vendor applications as needed
Creates SQL scripts as needed
Works with vendors when necessary to troubleshoot issues and develop customized solutions
Uses IT ticket management and change management systems following published procedures; respond to and resolve incident ticket escalations for areas covered by this position
This position has direct contact with end users and application owners. Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are essential.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience administering iManage
Knowledge of iManage integrations with Microsoft Office 2010 and 2016
Excellent SQL query skills
Excellent desktop troubleshooting skills
Experience with application installation, data conversion and testing
Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including administering Windows Servers, Windows 7, and Windows 10
Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
Excellent listening skills and written and oral communication with non-technical users, including in training
Excellent ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment
Responsive, especially in a service disruption; attentive to detail; persistent in follow up; respectful of the need to keep confidences
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
