The Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for the primary support of enterprise systems including our document management, conflicts, new business intake, records management, human resources management, client relationship management and related SQL databases. This position will function as an internal business and technology consultant to understand business requirements for these enterprise systems, optimized related work processes and ensure these applications function properly to meet business needs. The Enterprise Applications Analyst will report to the Network Operations & Security Manager to ensure daily maintenance, logging, reporting, backups, updates, and other routine tasks for our enterprise systems are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
Work closely with attorneys and administrative departments to optimize work processes, improve access to information, and leverage and make better use of existing technology.
Keep all software programs updated, maintained, and operational, document all changes to enterprise applications, install/test/monitor program performance after implementation.
Deep, hands-on support of the iManage document management application, IDOL search engine and integrated software such as Prosperoware Milan.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our conflicts management and new business intake systems including workflow.
SME for our records management and hosted human resources management systems.
Act as escalation resource for help tickets related to our enterprise systems; responsible for updating and closing assigned help tickets in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot, support and maintain all SQL servers, databases, automated routines and scripts.
Able to automate data import/exports from one database to another.
Proactively and effectively communicate potential problems, solutions and accomplishments to management.
Analyze existing processes and identify dependencies and points of failure, and recommend and implement improved technical solutions.
Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, proactively and effectively communication potential problems and solutions to those problems to IT management and ensure approval from key stakeholders.
Interact directly with vendors to resolve technical issues and keep abreast of new releases.
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, information systems management or closely related field desired.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the information technology industry.
Previous law firm or professional services experience preferred
Demonstrated experience optimizing work processes with tangible results.
3+ years of SQL Server database administration experience.
iManage Certified Systems Engineer (ICSE) certification a significant plus.
Minimum of 3 years work experience with document management system support.
Demonstrated knowledge Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience in database administration, database monitoring and tuning, and physical database development.
Extensive experience managing multiple MS SQL 2005/2008/2012/2014 servers on enterprise-class server clusters running Windows 2003/2008/2012.
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
PowerShell scripting experience is preferred.
Experience with T-SQL, DTS, SSIS and stored procedures.
Experience with Replication, Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, and Availability Groups.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, team-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
