The Manager of Systems Integration is responsible for the architectural design, implementation, operation of all software systems managed by the IS Department. The Manager of Systems Integration will oversee all phases of the Firm’s information systems life cycle including needs analysis, planning, implementation, and maintenance and manage a staff of 5 integration engineers.
The Manager of Systems Integration will work directly with firm management and stakeholders as well as software vendors, systems engineers, application administrators, and database administrators in the design, implementation, and support of a wide array of the Firm’s information systems.
Provide architectural and technical leadership for many of the firm’s primary software systems including Document Management, Case Management, [ ], and others. Responsibilities include product selection, integration/systems design, implementation, vendor management, product lifecycle management.
Enterprise configuration management of the Firm’s 1500 desktop computers including OS design, patching, application packaging, distribution and updates.
Manage the selection, configuration, distribution and updates for firm’s 300+ user productivity and legal specific desktop applications.
Manage a group of 5 Integration engineers and application analysts.
Develop and maintain in depth, up to date technical knowledge of the products, systems and protocols used in the firm's information systems.
Participate in firm wide IT projects, systems designs, and procurement/outsourcing plans for compliance with IT best practices, standards and current architectural plans.
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase performance, cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability and recoverability. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
Mentor, instruct and otherwise develop technical staff in areas of new technology and promote architectural concepts.
Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for changes and improvements in IT infrastructure.
5-8 years experience with law firm information systems including needs analysis, planning, design, implementation, and maintenance.
3+ years of personnel management experience.
5-8 years of configuration management experience using enterprise tools for an organization of 1000 or more users.
Very strong Windows/Active Directory architectural knowledge.
Solid MS SQL DBMS and DBA experience.
5-8 years of experience implementing and supporting Citrix in the enterprise
