The Partner Development Manager develops, implements, manages and evaluates strategic sales plans to maximize revenues for corporate sponsorships, events, virtual programming, publications, social media presence, etc. By executing plans for sales growth based on market analysis and proven sales development, the Partner Development Manager will meet or exceed projected revenue targets by acquiring new accounts and developing new revenue opportunities.
Develop, implement, manage and evaluate strategic sales plans for all partner revenue-generating programs. Solicit and sell corporate sponsorship offerings, exhibit booths, and sponsorships at events, sponsorship of virtual programming, publication advertising, social media advertising, etc.
Develop, build and enhance relationships with business partner sponsors and advertisers.
Grow revenue year-over-year to meet/exceed stated annual financial goals. Consistently bring in new accounts or revenue streams annually.
Explore and develop new markets and prospect sales leads from competitive tradeshows/events, websites, directories, publications and other new market opportunities to enhance sales growth.
Collaborate with programming and marketing staff to design, produce and distribute printed and electronic marketing materials and information.
Contribute to the annual budget for all partner revenue-generating programs.
Secure signed contracts/insertion orders and ensure invoicing is sent out by accounting in a timely fashion. Collaborate with accounting on follow-up regarding clients’ payment obligations, as appropriate.
Work with volunteers and staff to develop education/exposition programs and special events involving business partners, as required.
Reports to Vice President, Partner Development. Effectively maintains relationships with other Partner Development team members along with other key stakeholders within the organization.
Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with customers of ILTA to ensure maximum value for their experience
Ability to travel to Annual Conference (7-10 days in August).
Able to work overtime as needed
Telecommuting is allowed.
