ILTA is looking for a talented Community Engagement Manager to recruit, retain and engage large sections of our diverse membership. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and work closely with ILTA’s volunteers, membership, revenue generation and marketing teams to develop and implement initiatives for the community needs. These initiatives will drive new membership, engage current members and serve the broader industry. The Community Engagement Manager will quickly identify potential community opportunities and challenges, while simultaneously advocating for innovative and timely solutions. They should be an excellent communicator, comfortable communicating to large groups or individuals.
Duties for the community will include: recruiting for the community and member engagement; communicating with members, potential members and partners; leading programming initiatives; setting up and leading events; implementing a volunteer governance structure; managing a budget and tracking community metrics.
The successful candidate will have experience building and maintaining highly-engaged community programs. An understanding of the legal industry is a plus.
Develop and manage a community to recruit new members, drive engagement and interaction.
Determine and execute on communications strategies for the community, including but not limited to volunteers, specific users, forums, blogs, email, and social media.
Stay engaged, involved with and current on the legal technology industry.
Create and manage events, education, and in-person events for the community.
Drive the development of initiatives to engage the membership and wider industry.
Monitor posts and other interactions to promote community participation that nurtures growth, diversity and positive interaction.
Develop and utilize data to drive decisions and improve the community.
Implement ongoing analytics to measure community performance and report results to internal stakeholders.
Work with partners to develop support for the community
5+ years of management experience
