Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Associate Director of Global Training and End User Support is responsible for creating and maintaining a cohesive strategy to train and support legal and administrative personnel worldwide. Additionally, responsible for the training and development of staff, to deliver consistent and world class service.
The primary responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain a formalized technical training curriculum firm-wide for attorneys, staff and support personnel, to align with changing technology and needs.
Collaborate with internal Practice areas and administrative departments such as Human Resources, Legal Personnel and other departments and department heads as needed, to assess technical needs and develop customized curriculum training.
Design and develop formal on-line curriculums and training techniques as required for mobile platforms, phone systems and core computer programs.
Develop and maintain curriculum for the Train-the-Trainer program to support implementation across the firm.
Technically knowledgable to be hands on in all facets of training and support as needed.
Serve on the project team to implement a Learning Management System. Act as Subject Matter Expert to own the overall management and maintenance of the LMS (create learning paths, course curriculum, etc.)
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5 years’ experience designing a formal curriculum and facilitating classroom and e-learning training required.
Must have experience as a manager in a leadership role. The successful candidate will also have excellent project management & communication skills.
Experience developing instructional and participant materials including objectives, training documentation, visual aids, testing, course handouts and evaluation forms.
Must have demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness.
Must have the ability to apply adult learning principles and incorporate it into curriculum design and development.
Must have expert level knowledge in Microsoft Office and legal industry specific software.
Must possess a professional demeanor, passion for the subject at hand, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
