The Technology Training Manager is responsible for the strategy and successful implementation of all technical training from start to finish. This includes conducting needs assessments, developing and maintaining training materials and determining appropriate delivery methods, instructors and venues to improve adoption and usability of technology. The training manager will help create a learning culture using various tools and methodologies to design a user-centered approach for training today’s attorneys and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in designing and executing successful training programs. As well as in-depth knowledge of legal technology tools including document management, document production, and time entry. This position requires outstanding writing and presentation skills, critical thinking, decision making and initiative. Ability to prioritize work, demonstrate resourcefulness, flexibility and attention to detail is crucial. This role involves effective working relationships with all levels of firm personnel. The individual will become a subject matter expert in various practice area workflows, while applying technology to enhance and streamline.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of manager-level experience in training and learning development, or relevant field. Law firm experience highly preferred. Agile experience beneficial. Industry certifications highly desired (Association for Talent Development, Society of Technical Communication, Microsoft MOS, PROSCI, etc.) This position may require travel.I-POST
