Seeking highly motivated Network Analyst experienced in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the Firm’s information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all infrastructure, networked software and associated operating systems. The Network Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of system investments.
Maintain a successful network infrastructure including LAN and WAN hardware, Internet and wireless connections, circuits, routers, switches and firewalls.
Install, configure and maintain Windows servers, VMWare, SQL and SAN environments.
Installation, implementation, and configuration of Citrix farm including servers, software, upgrades, patches, policies, scripts, security, load balancing, application packaging/deployment, performance tuning, and overall day-to-day operations.
Manage and maintain successful backups using EMC and continuity solutions in primary and secondary locations.
Closely monitor network environment and other related systems to assure quality, performance and very high levels of availability in primary and co-location sites.
Maintain primary data center including all considerations for power management, temperature, humidity and cabling.
Monitor and evaluate risk and security measures to prevent internal or external threats to systems and data including audits, risk assessments, security tests and penetration tests.
Administer network monitoring software and Varonis to ensure timely alerts and response to network and systems issues.
Working knowledge of large desktop deployments including design, engineering and support of the desktop, desktop applications, desktop images, encryption, endpoint security and the associated systems of application delivery such as SCCM and group policies.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Serve as an escalation point for network system operational issues.
Bachelor's Degree or other training in IT discipline, or equivalent experience. Citrix Certifications (CCA, CCEA) and/or Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) a plus.
At least two years’ experience with Citrix XenApp and/or XenDesktop administration, Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, Windows Terminal Services, Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, and application packaging and deployment experience with Microsoft SCCM.
Active Directory / Group Policies, MS scripting, MS Office productivity tools (e.g., Office, Project, Visio).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team, and solve problems using creative solutions. Ability to organize and prioritize workload, and remain flexible in an environment of constantly changing priorities.
Proven experience and success with LAN and WAN configuration management.
Experience with VMware in a Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 environment.
Experience with NetApp hardware and software environment.
Ability to create and consistently maintain reliable systems documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
