The Digital Education Coordinator’s primary focus is to provide key support, oversight, and project management to volunteers, in the development and successful execution of their digital education content. The Digital Education Coordinator reports directly to the Digital Education Manager.
Coordinate the administrative aspects of ILTA’s, volunteer led, digital offerings – including agenda setting, meeting management and education coordination across multiple volunteer teams.
In conjunction with the CCT team coordinators, host an annual fall programming planning meeting focusing on the development, review, and selection of upcoming content for the quarter ahead.
Utilize project management, communication, and strong organizational skills, to oversee digital educational program development (i.e., obtain missing project details, help secure speakers/authors/moderators with sponsor, host kick-off calls, fine tune formats, outline key deadlines, provide resources, hold follow-up calls and obtain final PPT slides, etc.)
Have a strong ability to be agile and flexible when project progress is stalled to push them forward.
Experience with scheduling meetings for large groups, distributing agendas, minutes and assignments before and after meetings.
Comfortable speaking in digital formats as a staff moderator and helping lead monthly calls.
Execute key administrative duties pertaining to both the back-office creation of digital content and data tracking/metrics for reporting.
Provide support or training to ILTA Staff with digital content set up, as needed.
Assemble annual volunteer teams while ensuring a proper balance of experience levels, skill sets, and diversity are present from May-August each year for the next term.

Foster a positive environment for volunteers to learn new skills, network with peers and believe in the purpose of ILTA.
Lead engaging and productive discussions with volunteer teams via virtual meetings and messaging platforms (Zoom, Slack, MS Teams, etc.)
Host annual volunteer orientation in September - reviewing key functions and responsibilities, addressing questions, and ensuring new volunteers feel welcome and able to ask for assistance when needed.
Challenge volunteer teams to think outside the box when it comes to content development.
Work with volunteer teams to creatively repurpose deliverables.
Conduct quarterly reviews with volunteer teams’ leaders to ensure goals are met, gaps are identified, and obstacles are addressed.
Maintain a friendly and persistent communications cadence with project team members, sponsors, and Content Team’s Team Coordinators on the status of each project to ensure deadlines are met and projects are moving forward.
Efficiently share pertinent information to volunteer teams that enable them to be aligned with ILTA’s educational strategic goals.
Abide by the team’s communication process to inform other volunteer groups of planned programming to foster participation with new members and partners (ILTACON, UK Special Interest Groups, Business Partners, Member Liaisons, SLTs, etc.)
Ensure volunteers are advocating and promoting the upcoming and completed programming via online communities and social media.
Reports to Digital Education Manager?
Works with Marketing to draft promotions for emails, social media, and programming awareness.
Works with Publications to deliver timely volunteer educational content quarterly such as CCT white papers.
Works with Service Delivery Team when collaborating on cross-format initiatives
Available for occasional travel (annual Conference in August)
Experience in podcast editing
Experience with surveys, data tracking, metrics and reporting
Coordinate and help oversee CCT White Papers per quarter
Strong Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Zoom experience
