The Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for providing analytics and strategic data to both attorneys and staff in the Firm. This individual will be a self-starter with the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of the Firm, including strategies, processes, services, and operations. The Sr. Business Analyst must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with time sensitive materials, and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
Essential Job Duties: •Develop strong partnerships across the firm to get a solid understanding of the business needs and related nuances. •Review, analyze, and evaluate documents, current system landscapes, processes, data, user needs, and functional and non-functional requirements; document and make recommendations. •Liaise between partners and IT teams. •Develop good working knowledge of core systems’ functions and flow. Drive conversations to determine best methods to achieve set goals, and define where gaps exist. •Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and demonstrate brainstorming/consensus building skills. •Assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies. •Identify, analyze and document business/system processes; seeking improvements to streamline the business process and eliminate complexity in the system landscape. •Serve as an agent for positive change to existing and new processes by identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending industry best practices. •Identify process improvement opportunities. •Map, understand and recommend changes to business processes, data flow and cross-functional business area needs. •Identify ways to increase efficiency, adoption and customer satisfaction. •Understand the high level implications, interpret results, and identify and resolve issues independently. •Prioritize and manage time sensitive projects. •Ability to perform all essential job duties.

Minimum Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 5 years developing and executing business analysis processes for strategic plans and/or project portfolios or an equivalent combination of education and experience. •Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis role. •Demonstrated business process analysis skills. •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. •Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the business. •Strong critical thinking/analytical skills. •Strong written and oral communication skills. •Strong attention to detail. •Ability to independently identify needs and take action. •Ability to adapt quickly to change. •Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively. •Ability to interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication and in person. •Strong, pro-active, customer and solution oriented mindset.
