Responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the firm help desk and support center operations. Provides assistance to employees and clients of the firm regarding hardware, network, systems, applications, remote access, video/audio conference and telephone-related inquiries. May assist in user training and special projects. Requires excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Must have exceptional Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, conferencing, and Internet skills. Must have law firm experience.
Requirements include: Bachelor or Associate in Information Systems or related field; A+ certification and at least one of the following: MOUS, MCP, or MCSE certifications and 3+ years of experience in a computer support role; Microsoft SCCM administration or emphasis on application packaging and deployment highly preferred; Exceptional customer service skills; Excellent communication skills, oral and written with the ability to multi-task; Works well under pressure and given tight deadlines; 3 years of advanced technical knowledge regarding troubleshooting techniques; Ability to follow procedures in the support of hardware and software and in providing network support for multiple users; Must understand and be able to perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop operating systems, software applications, and hardware; An understanding of LAN/WAN configurations and knowledge of Windows networks,, operating systems and remote access technologies; Exceptional analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and find or develop related solutions; Must have expert knowledge and experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems version 7 and above; Ability to develop and document operational procedures; Must have 2 years previous experience in a supervisory or management position.
Preferred Skills: Enjoys learning new skills and thrives in a team environment; Experience with legal document creation; e-filing; security standards including data and drive encryption; Document management; document comparison; imaging; software deployment systems; remote access technologies including VPN, Citrix and two-factor authentication.
