Reporting to the Lead Application Support Analyst and the Application Support Manager, this position is primarily responsible for system administration support of assigned applications as well as testing applications in all phases of the development life cycle.
Maintains a thorough knowledge, on both user and administrative functions, for various applications in the firm as assigned by the Application Support Manager
Work with other members within Information Technology to ensure complete and timely resolution of customer questions and issues, and to complete any necessary follow-up on resolution
Provide functional support to users and Technology Services staff in each office location
Verify the existence of defects and their resolution
Ensure that all specifications are met through thorough testing of final product
Provide back-up administration and support for the Firm’s remote access and software deployment systems
Required Skills/Qualifications: - Ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues, develop alternatives, and choose the alternative that best meets the business objectives - Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Eagerness to stay abreast of emerging technologies - Expert level analytical skills - Ability to pay close attention to detail, occasionally for prolonged periods of time and under restrictive deadlines, and complete work assignments logically and accurately - Ability to prepare systems and program documentation with the use of flow charts and narration - Ability to prepare instructions for correct installation of applications
