We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented and experienced IT Helpdesk/Support Specialist to join our team. Primary responsibilities will be to respond to L&B help desk tickets, troubleshoot technology issues and work on various projects which will require a clear understanding of our environment. Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of IT Helpdesk and Support experience.
Deliver exceptional service as the face of IT Support & initial point of contact for Lindsay & Brownell
Interface with external IT group to manage high-level server maintenance and backup solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve simple to complex incidents associated with firm-standard end user applications, including but not limited to software, hardware, desktop computing, mobile technologies, password assistance, internet, network & remote connectivity, new hire setup, telecom & printer related incidents, etc.
Hardware: Printers, Scanners, Peripherals, etc.
Enterprise: Microsoft Windows 7/10, O365, Cloud applications
Virtual environments including both desktops and servers
Firm Applications: Tax related programs
Common off the shelf (COTS) applications (MS Office 365/2016/2010, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
Connectivity: Internet and LAN/WAN, Remote Access clients (RDS, Citrix)
Collaboration Tools: Video/Audio conferencing
Mobile Devices: Android, iOS, Windows, MDM
Telecom: Mitel, Polycom
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience working in professional services (CPA or Law Firm) desired
Exceptional customer service aptitude
The ability to prioritize tasks and respond with a sense of urgency
Effectively communicate both verbally and in written form to all levels of Firm staff
Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Work in an effective, consistent manner, maintaining quality assurance and compliance with established directives, policy and best practices
Demonstrate professional integrity at all times both in and outside the workplace
Maintain the confidentiality, security and exercise the appropriate level of discretion regarding all firm issues and information
Accommodate flexible work hours
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. (computers, monitors and other equipment)
This position is non-exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California.
