Responsible for managing assigned legal operations systems. Provides systems support to in-house counsel as well as outside entities, in conjunction with internal and external IT resources. Identifies and rectifies system-related issues. Serves as division liaison for data reporting needs. Recommends systems enhancements and provides input to process improvement.
Acts as the Walgreens liaison for assigned legal operations systems, escalating issues to the appropriate vendor and/or Walgreens IT as needed/requested. Assists in all phases (requirements gathering, testing, and rollout) of assigned project implementation.
Functions as subject matter expert (SME) and internal training/issue resolution resource to division team members for assigned systems.
Troubleshoots all division user and connectivity issues, solving or escalating issues as needed/requested to the vendor and/or Walgreens IT.
Serves as the division hub for systems reporting. Assists with custom reports and queries as needed/requested.
Assists division personnel with law firm integrations and works to resolve all issues.
Maintains information used by legal operations systems.
Advises on future enhancements based on new module offerings from the system vendors and the ongoing needs of the division. Provides input to process improvement.
Internal Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience with legal operations systems OR High School diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience with legal operations systems.
At least 1 year of experience in manipulating databases to collect, analyze, report, and deploy information.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Experience working with legal operations software and systems.
Experience with legal information management and billing procedures.
