The Senior Systems Engineer works with a peer to architect and administer the Active Directory, System Center, Certificate Services and other Microsoft related technologies for the firm. The position will collaboratively plan the maintenance and update of key Microsoft infrastructure components with a peer and report to the Data Center and Systems Engineering manager. They will work closely with the Storage and Virtual Infrastructure architects, the Database Administration, Email and Operations team.
Working with their peer, the Senior Systems Engineer will proactively advance the state of the firm Microsoft infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Advanced PowerShell Scripting and Automation
Group Policy Management
Internal and external DNS
Distributed File System
Windows Failover Clustering
System Center Operations Manager
System Center Configuration Manager
SAML and SSO Technology Platforms
Advanced troubleshooting and tertiary support to Application Support teams
Strong self-starter with a drive to constantly improve the current system state.
5 years of experience as a senior administrator for Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies
MCSE - Server Infrastructure
Administrative experience with VMWare and Hyper-V
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
