This position is located in the Reston, VA office. Relocation is available in accordance with the firm's policy.
The IT team partners with DLA Piper management, lawyers and internal business units to devise and deploy solutions that improve the quality of the legal services we deliver to our clients as well as the efficiency of our firm’s business operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
10 years’ experience with IT managed services
Experience working directly with service providers and tracking performance against metrics
Experience managing various budgets, projecting costs, and tracking expenses
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ability to summarize and present findings and challenges to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
What will your day look like? The Manger of IT Managed Services directs, manages, and implements business plans. You will define the strategic long-term roadmap and ensure that all services provided meet performance criteria based on IT metrics. You will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on the IT budget, working closely alongside our accounting team to finalize budgets and resolve discrepancies. You will lead efforts in vendor evaluation and selection criteria, procedures and best practices. This entails conducting competitive analyses on vendor agreements to ensure the firm is receiving the best product that works within the IT budget. You will be responsible for ensuring that new and renewed vendor agreements (SOWs) are executed in a timely manner, adhering to SLAs and performance obligations.
