Cultivate and maintain relationships with recruiters and search firms.
Negotiate and draft fee agreements.
Determine market trends and implement best practices.
Serve as the primary point person for the Firm with candidates and search firms.
Oversee the interview process including preparation of candidate materials for the Executive Committee and other key partners, coordination of conference calls/meetings to prep partners in advance of interviews, schedule interviews, greet and escort candidates to interviews and gather feedback following interviews.
Maintain recruiting database and track candidates.
Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates to various offices for interviews.
Collaborate with the Marketing/PR Team to ensure consistent brand.
Develop and manage lateral partner onboarding and conduct a comprehensive orientation program.
Coordinate with administrative teams and Practice Group Leaders to assure lateral partners receive the necessary support or information before or when they arrive.
Develop and implement an integration plan for each lateral hire.
Develop lateral partner handbook.
Manage conflicts and background checks pursuant to Firm’s policies.
Prepare an array of management reports, as necessary.
Develop and administer lateral partner new hire feedback survey.
Develop and implement partner departure details in coordination with the Chief Personnel Officer.
Oversee integration of lateral associate hires in close coordination with the Associate Director of Recruiting, Director of Legal Personnel and Legal Personnel Manager.

Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred
Law Firm experience is required
Minimum of 5 years recruitment experience in a professional services firm or legal search firm, with some years of experience in partner level recruiting preferred.

Must be hands on and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
