A Network Engineer’s responsibilities are multifaceted. They are required to maintain a network that aims to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Firm data. They are also responsible for many different tasks related supporting the needs of our end users.
Planning, engineering, and monitoring the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems.
Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall network systems.
Solving and remediating complex network issues.
Configuring and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
Testing and checking the system for weaknesses in software and hardware.
Maintaining firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email systems.
Maintaining servers, hypervisors and storage arrays.
Configuring and installing infrastructure devices.
Determining latest technologies and processes that improve the overall resiliency of the network.
Scrutinizing network configurations and aligning with best practices.
Configuring and installing new software and hardware.
Communicating network incidents to management as soon as possible.
Other projects as assigned.

Minimum five years of experience as a network engineer or IT support role.
BS in Computer Science is preferred.
Exceptional networking skills and knowledge.
Occasional travel between office locations.
Law firm experience preferred.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
