Information Governance (IG) Analyst is a technical person that manages the day-to-day efforts handling firm and client information. The IG Analyst is an active participant in the implementation and maintenance of an effective information governance program. They will perform duties including process and procedures related to the management of network file shares; management of firm cloud services including account adds/moves/deletes, reporting, legal hold data protection; apply automation and systems integration approaches where feasible to streamline processes; among other duties that may be assigned. The IG Analyst will utilize industry practices and specialized expertise to implement innovative solutions and maintain up-to-date knowledge on cloud services and their uses in a law firm environment to ensure compliance with IG program policies and standards, as well as other firm governance, client mandates and regulatory requirements. This position will work directly with attorneys and staff across departments to determine controls, procedures, and protections appropriate for the sensitivity level of the information. Assist with implementation of IG policies and standards that address the use of cloud storage and network file shares among other aspects of information management lifecycle.

Education & Experience:
1-3 years of IT-related work experience with Active Directory Users and Groups.
Experience with administering Active Directory and Microsoft operating systems required.
Implementation of Single-Sign-On in an Active Directory environment.
Management and security of network file shares.
Experience with cloud storage services and features for at least one service such as G-Suite Drive or Microsoft OneDrive required.
Experience with reporting and information management in at least one cloud storage application such as G-Suite Drive or Microsoft OneDrive required.
