MBHB is seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of general IT support experience in the legal environment to fill the role of Systems Administrator.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills (MS Office skills are critical); outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral-written) skills; ability to build relationships within the organization and to work collaboratively with various teams and departments; a professional demeanor with proven leadership skills; the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times; the ability to adapt to changing technology within a professional services organization; attention to detail is a must; and the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and execute multiple assignments under pressure.
The Systems Administrator will provide level II technical support service by phone, email, desk side, or remotely to our professionals and staff. This position is responsible for analyzing and making decisions/judgements about technology challenges and problems. Will assist with identifying technology, training, and customer service improvements. Additionally, will be responsible for building and maintaining positive and proactive service relationships with our MSP and with firm vendors.
Provide high level of technical support desk side and remotely for hardware and software
Perform troubleshooting, research and documentation of incidents and problems Use Incident management system to properly document and escalate issues as reported
Identify and report status of critical incidents and problems to IT leadership
Ensure escalations from the Service Desk are properly prioritized and status is communicated in a timely matter to client
Collaborate with IT support team to ensure the highest level of customer support and resolution, and collaborate with IT leadership to identify and facilitate issue prioritization and decision making process
Seek and identify opportunities to enhance clients experience with the Firm’s technology
Setup and delivery of various hardware and audio visual requests for conference room services, and ensure all conference rooms are kept in appropriate working order
Keep up to date on emerging and competitive AV/VC technology and newly released applications
Participate in and contribute to workload and status review meetings
Manage IT hardware assets and accurately maintain inventory counts
Assist with network infrastructure projects and local VMware infrastructure and SAN.
Contribute to process and organizational development and improvements where necessary
Must be willing to work after hours to assist with client service delivery, system maintenance, and projects as needed
acilitate and promote a team culture that encourages ownership of team goals, trust, respect, and strong cross collaboration throughout the Firm
Technical experience within the Legal industry, as well as support experience with a Document Management System DMS, document formatting tools, Remote desktops (citrix), as well as other legal applications
Understanding of growing IT security trends and the ability to adhere and convey IT Security policies to our customer base
Technical experience with hardware including but not limited to personal computers, laptops and printers
Technical experience with mobile devices, mobile device set-ups, and MDM solutions
Experience with Apple Products
Certifications a plus (A+, Network +,MOS, ITIL Foundations, etc.)
Bachelor degree preferred, or comparable experience
