Interact closely with specialized legal teams and admin departments to maintain their line of business software systems, provide support, and offer creative solutions to improve and streamline business processes.
Facilitate system and vendor selection process through requirements gathering, research, scorecards, and proof of concept setup.
Install and configure complex software systems interacting with multiple teams (Development, DBAs, Servers, Storage, Networking, InfoSec, etc.) within the department
Troubleshoot existing systems and provide escalation support, working with internal support teams and vendors.
Document new and existing systems and work with the Training department to help “train the trainer” and create user-facing documentation.
Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Manager of Business Systems and Development.

Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology field.
Proficiency in Visio, UML, or another diagraming tool/technology.
Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.
Minimum 2 years experience supporting a complex ecosystem of systems.
Ability to work independently and quickly troubleshoot production issues.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft stack: Active Directory, Server operating systems, Group Policy, file and network security, etc.
Working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows security.
Strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail, while working in a very fast-paced and energetic environment.
Must be available to provide weekend and after-hours support.
Basic scripting in PowerShell or another language.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Basic knowledge of proxy servers, firewalls, and TCP/IP stack.
2+ years of experience working in a law firm environment.
Proficiency in iManage or another document management system, including indexers.
Proficiency in Interaction or another CRM.
Experience working and delivering under Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
