SUMMARY: According to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for conducting new hire and on-going technology training for the firm's core applications including hands-on classroom instruction, individual coaching, webinars, and remote training using conferencing software in all office locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Conducts new hire and on-going technology training including hands-on classroom instruction, individual coaching, lunch-and-learns and remote training in all office locations; 2. Provides input into and executes firmwide technology training strategy as directed by the Training Manager to ensure a high quality and consistent approach in all offices for technology training; 3. Collaborates and provides feedback on the design, development, and review of curriculum and reference documentation for new software, software upgrades, new hire training and individual training; 4. Plans, schedules and communicates training for various IT and department/practice groups on an as needed basis; 5. Publishes content, course calendars and create videos and learning plans using the LegalMind Learning Management System (LMS); 6. Collaborates with other teams by participating in software pilot programs, conducts testing and reporting results, soliciting feedback from users, and documenting results to IT management; 7. Collaborates with Help Desk staff to review trends in the ServiceNow Ticketing System for follow up and learning opportunities; 8. Identifies and recommends continual areas for improvement to achieve and deliver higher quality service to our end users; 9. Maintains positive relationships with firm staff and legal personnel for their technology training needs; 10. Furthers technology skills and instructional delivery methods independently to expand knowledge of the firm core software and emerging technologies; 11. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Five to seven years of technology training experience, preferably in law firms or corporate legal departments; 2. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2016 suite; 3. Familiarity with document management systems and other third party legal applications; 4. Experience delivering instructor-led training in the classroom and facilitating training remotely via video or web conferencing software; 5. Demonstrate experience in course design and development, along with a working knowledge of adult learning theory; 6. Experience creating user training communications (videos, blogs, articles, newsletters, tip sheets, tutorials); 7. Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) Development and Administration, highly desirable; 8. Experience in content creation and editing for on-line learning content using Camtasia or Adobe Captivate, highly desirable.
