The Knowledge Management Department at Fox Rothschild LLP is looking to hire a KM Practice Support Administrator in one of three locations: New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, or Washington, D.C.
Summary: Integrates and leverages a wide variety of technologies to improve the legal processes and client relationships. Participates in the research, review and analyzation of all KM, Practice Support and Innovation Resources.
Practice Support and Innovation
Works with Director to carry out the recommendations of the Innovation Committee and to integrate and leverage a wide variety of technologies to improve the legal processes and client relationships.
Provide Innovation Support to all Departments and/or Practice Groups and/or Clients as needed:
Liaise with other Administrative Departments and KM Team Members to ensure Innovation Content is published as appropriate on FoxNet.
Assist with standard forms, current awareness, search, external resources/tools, local counsel referrals, and other KM tools and resources.
Works cooperatively with attorneys to ensure the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency of work product.
Assists with online collaboration between Attorneys and Clients
Works with Attorneys and Clients on Document Automation
Assists with the improvement of workflow and legal processes for Clients
Actively participate in marketing Innovation services to Departments and Practice Groups by independently participating in Department and/or Practice Group Meetings.
Monitor industry publications with regards to new and upcoming KM and Research tools and reports back to Director.
At the direction of the Director, assists Departments and/or Practice Groups in defining, implementing and promoting innovative tools and systems.
KM Innovation Analysis
Review, research and analyze Innovation tools under consideration for purchase
Works with the Director to manage the Analysis Process of all KM, Practices Support and Innovation Tools.
Coordinate demos and trials of KM and Practice Support Tools.
Draft criteria to analyze KM and Innovation Tools.
Work with Attorneys, staff and clients (as applicable) to gather requirements necessary to analyze Innovation Tools and coordinates the analysis of the same.
Make recommendations regarding the purchase of KM and Practice Support Tools.
Liaises with the KM Resources Manager as needed to carry out the above.
In conjunction with KM Research Manager, assists KM Management with roll out of Innovation Resources as applicable.
Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
MLS, J.D. or equivalent experience
4 -8 years in the legal industry
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Well versed in the structure and form of legal contracts and the legal processes and familiarity with and a mastery of technologies used to improve legal processes.
Familiarity with multiple areas of law – both jurisdictional and topical
Understanding of the context of KM and Innovation Resources.
Familiarity and experience with project management methodology

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
