Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership, expertise and guidance related to the design, development and implementation of integrations between the financial systems and other applications using Microsoft stack, collaborating with various IT groups.
Assist in leading our financial system replacement project. This will include business process review, gathering business requirements, data mapping for data conversion, system setup, customizations, workflows and reporting.
Assist in all financial systems related projects' technical and functional aspects including analysis of the current business, detection of critical deficiencies and recommendations of solutions for improvement including requirement gathering, planning, testing and implementing.
Responsible for the overall installation, development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of the financial systems, primarily Elite Enterprise 3.10 and its peripheral applications (Paperless Proforma, Design Gallery, Adaptive Insights, ChromeRiver, ImageConnect, ARCS 2G, SAP Business Objects, Qlik Sense, etc).
Frequently provides direction to less experienced developers.
Detailed understanding of the report writing tools the firm uses for ad hoc reporting.
Develop, modify and maintain billing templates using Elite and Design Gallery.
Assist as liaison between the IS and Finance department and work closely with Finance personnel in direct support of financial systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or IS related field, or equivalent.
7-10 years of related financial systems, applications and database experience. Elite Enterprise, 3E or Aderant experience required.
In-depth understanding of SQL development, relational databases and infrastructure design and best practices required including views, stored procedures, SSIS packages and SQL jobs. Knowledge of BI / Cube Environments, Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project leadership, programming and troubleshooting skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, time management, decision-making and customer service skills.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the firm.
