This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine is looking for an experienced Endpoint Engineer to join our team in our Seattle office.
The Endpoint Engineer II will work with and as a part of a collaborative team in a fast paced environment to implement automation and ensure optimal performance of all endpoints. The position is primarily responsible for the support of firm-wide endpoints with a focus on mobile devices, including Microsoft Windows OS, Windows-based applications, SCCM, and Ivanti User Workspace Manager. The position will serve as a technical resource to the Endpoint Engineering team, Infrastructure Operations, User Support, Service Desk, and Training teams. The Endpoint Engineer II implements the department’s goals using the technology provided by the firm. The Endpoint Engineer II will act as the primary resource for all aspects of mobile devices, application deployments, and support for the Endpoint Engineering group.

Support and Implement mobile device management platform
Support and Implement mobile device process and policies leveraging technologies provided by the firm
Create and maintain quality assurance program for mobile devices including applications deployed by the Endpoint Team
Support and Administer Ivanti User Workspace Manager environment
Support and Administer SCCM infrastructure and deployment technologies
Support and Administer virtualized environment including Citrix and VMWare Horizon
Implement automated deployment methodologies focusing on mobile devices
Serve as primary escalation resource for mobile devices and other functions supported by the Endpoint Team
Produce and maintain documentation and application life cycle for mobile devices and other functions supported by the Endpoint Team
Endpoint security and application technologies for all Endpoints
Adhere to change control process; based on industry best practices
Design, create, and maintain self-service access to all supported applications with a focus on mobile devices
Communicate with internal resources to identify issues and explain solutions
Knowledge of managing SCCM processes
Advanced experience with Windows operating systems
Knowledge of patch management and software distribution
Proficiency in policy management for Endpoints
In this role, you will:
Act as Mobile device administrator by creating policies and process that allow the user support group to effectively manage mobile devices;
Maintain an effective process for onboarding and off-boarding endpoint devices primarily focusing on mobile devices;
Create and maintain process for quality assurance of all firm supported mobile device operating systems and applications;
Ensure daily support of Endpoint devices is occurring to meet the firm standards while interfacing with User Support group;
Maintain knowledge of iVanti Workspace Manager and how various departments, practice groups, and teams utilize them to support business processes;
Maintain knowledge of virtualization technologies (Citrix and VMWare, etc.) and how various departments, practice groups, and teams utilize them to support business processes;
Provide technical advice and support for all application packaging, compatibility testing, and software distribution;
Maintain awareness and adherence of security measures, policies, methods and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and firm data. Promote a culture that encourages information security as an integral part of IT architecture and business processes;
Utilize strong knowledge of deploying Microsoft Windows OS image to manage, deploy, patch, and update all endpoints (Windows 7 and 10);
Apply thorough understanding of advanced network concepts, application interoperability, and Active Directory architecture to day to day operations;
Perform additional tasks as directed by Endpoint Engineering Manager.
Join us if you have:
6+ years of experience in Information Technology
5+ years of direct experience in end user computing and mobile device management
A self-starter mentality while being a team player, and a willingness to learn and utilize new technologies
Ability to provide off-hour support (evenings, weekends and holidays) for rotating after-hours support
Demonstrable understanding of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, various Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and follow-up skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner.
Ability to quickly assess a situation and adjust approach to fit
A strong attention to detail and quality control
Experience with ITIL methodologies
GED/High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
