Answer Helpdesk emails and phone during normally operating hours and occasionally after hours to ensure that issues and support requests are resolved or escalated expeditiously.
Assist IT staff with maintaining firm network including: administration, backup, upgrades, patching, installations, and troubleshooting. (Windows, Citrix, VMware, etc)
Assist IT staff with large projects (such as major software or hardware upgrades, office moves, security initiatives, etc.).
Hardware Support functions include, but are not limited to, desktop support, laptop support, office setups, and mobile device support. Perform computer imaging and post image configurations, preventative maintenance, and basic printer troubleshooting working with the vendor on repairs.
Software support functions include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting of applications that are standard within our environment, installation and configuration of software, updates and preventative maintenance, and support of third party applications in coordination with vendors.
Process technology aspects of new hires and departures.
Handle audio/video conference connections and projector setups.
Install and configure other technology assets, such as printers, scanners, copiers, telephones, network devices, and smartphones.
Create and maintain technical procedures and lists.

Lifting, carrying, and moving light-to-medium weights of up to 45 lbs.

At least three years of Information Technology experience in a Law Firm strong working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Windows (7 through 10), Office (2010 through 2019, O365), Windows Server (2008 and later), Exchange Server (2016), Azure, iTune, iManage’s FileSite/DeskSite/Work 10, Citrix XenApp and XenServer, VMware, Datto, Microsoft SQL Server, OpenText eDocs DM, Symantec, Webroot, Mimecast, Nimble Storage, networking technologies (Cisco & Fortinet, switches, routers, firewalls, Wireless, VLANs), Prism, Workshare, Adobe Acrobat, Nuance – Power PDF Mitel telephony.
The candidate must be a self-starter able to interact with end users at all levels, work independently and creatively, and be able to implement unfamiliar technologies. The candidate must be available at nights and on weekends for the occasional system work or emergency and limited travel to NJ are required.
