Litigation Support Project Managers are responsible for the execution of litigation support projects and ensuring the quality and timeliness of each project. This includes coordinating all phases of electronic discovery for a matter, from preservation and collection to production of ESI and beyond (deposition prep and coordinating documents and witnesses for trial in some cases). Project Managers provide in-house eDiscovery support by developing recommendations, plans, cost estimates, budgets, procedures, and specifications for case-specific eDiscovery projects. Project Managers are responsible on a case level for handling multiple projects concurrently and provide solutions to meet the specific matter requirements. Project Managers provide technical support as well, ranging from strategic level collection methodologies and effective database design, to loading data into review platforms, running searches, back-end operational support, and utilizing case or project management software.

Managing eDiscovery projects along with day to day support of litigation technology needs.
Supervision Received From
Receives direct supervision from the Chief Technology Officer
In the absence of the Chief Technology Officer, Team Lead may assist with prioritization of projects and activities.
Essential Functions
Consult with attorneys’ and staff about litigation technology and eDiscovery project management
Create and manage document review databases
Generate document productions and privilege logs
Meet attorney and client expectations often and early
Prepare exhibits, video clips and demonstratives for trial
Attend and support trials using trial presentation software
Consult with client Information Technology departments regarding document collections
Construct and run complex document searches within discovery review databases
Work with eDiscovery vendors on multiple matters, assisting with all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model

May be required to provide 24X7 on-call support
Stay up to date on new trends and innovations in the eDiscovery field.

Effectively communicate with vendors on client and firm needs
Education and Experience Requirements
Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university or at least three to five years of experience in law firm litigation support with advanced knowledge of best-of-breed applications, best practices, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) as well as understanding all phases of litigation. Industry certifications a plus.
