The Enterprise Applications Specialist is a new role, created within the Firm's Application Services Team to provide dedicated, hands-on skills centered around deploying, managing and supporting the Firm's software and devices, as part of a broader technology transformation effort.
Reporting to the Manager, IT Customer Services, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate technologist to take on a key role that transforms the delivery of applications and devices and our team's experience of using technology.
Working closely with IT Leadership and the Cloud and Infrastructure team, you will be involved in the day to day support and delivery of our application and device ecosystem and involvement in project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
As the Enterprise Applications Specialist, you are responsible for:
Developing, maintaining and supporting Windows 10 software images
Packaging and deployment of software applications and configurations, across Windows 10 environments, as well as IOS and Android
Working closely with the IT Business Adoption Specialist to ensure application and device deployments meet the needs of the Firm, with a focus on providing a high level of adoption
Conducting and managing UAT and QC processes as part of the technology delivery cycle
Close liaison with the Cloud and Infrastructure team to ensure Citrix remote access technologies are maintained with the same applications, services and experience as within the desktop environment
Liaise with application and device vendors in both a support and project delivery capacity
Documenting procedures for the Support Services team
Drive knowledge and best practice sharing to the Support Services team as part of project delivery and change management activities
Act as an escalation point for application and device Incident and Problem tickets
Strong experience with Microsoft Operating System Deployment, along with Microsoft's servicing model for Windows 10
Strong experience of using Enterprise Mobility Management or Mobile Device Management platforms, ideally MobileIron
Strong experience in application packaging
Excellent understanding and experience of Group Policy and Active Directory
Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, deployment and configuration, including the use of add-ins and other deeply integrated applications
Experience with scripting technologies
Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem beneficial
Knowledge of Document Management platforms, ideally iManage
Experience within the Legal Sector desirable
Knowledge of Quest KACE desirable
ITIL v4 Foundation desirable
