The Innovation team partners with the Client Care Office to deliver on the firm’s promise of a higher commitment to client care. Under the direction of the Director of Innovation Solutions and Innovation Solutions Manager, the Innovation Solutions Analyst will be encouraged to think big, and help us design and implement solutions that have a long-term impact on the client experience.
The Innovation Solutions Analyst will work on projects across different practice groups and using various different legal technology tools. This person will be a self-starter, able to independently identify and solve problems with limited oversight, and a quick learner, able to learn multiple new technologies.
This position requires hands-on work with Troutman Pepper lawyers, business professionals and key external partners to identify problem areas and design new solutions, leveraging the firm’s resources to efficiently weave together a variety of freestanding technologies in creative new ways—including, but are not limited to, online collaboration, data visualization & analytics, workflows and document automation technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Troutman Pepper attorneys, the Client Care Office, and other key business professionals to deliver solutions that enhance the client experience and improve the practice of law.
Identify opportunities to leverage existing and emerging technologies for practice specific needs.
Assist with pilot projects, evaluations, product selection, and firm-wide deployment of new offerings.
Stay informed of technology trends and start-ups that may impact the delivery of legal services and the markets of the clients we serve.
Conduct market research and evaluate technologies and procedures that promote productivity and service quality.
Active engagement, participation and visibility with industry organizations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Familiarity with any of the following types of technologies is a plus:
Collaboration platforms (such as SharePoint, HighQ, etc.);
Business Intelligence platforms (such as Tableau, MS Power BI, etc.); and/or
Document Automation templates (such as HotDocs, Contract Express, etc.).
Education and/or Experience:
One (1) to (3) years of work experience required.
Experience working with legal technology and/or within a large law firm preferred.
