The Client Value team helps the firm improve overall profit margins and increase client value through delivery of information, tools, project management, process improvement and other methods. Its goal is to increase value to the Firm's clients by providing lawyers with simple access to information, experience, and data, enabling lawyers to work more efficiently, and ensuring quality and consistency of work product. The Intranet Manager uses their background and expertise to advance these goals.
The Intranet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation and management of the firm's intranet. They will work with teams and individuals to design, develop, curate and build user-friendly but flexible solutions to store content and deliver requirements intuitively to our lawyers and business services staff. The Intranet Manager will be a fundamental and major stakeholder in the forthcoming upgrade of the intranet, a sizeable and business critical project.
This position involves leading a global community of content administrators responsible for the maintenance and content creation for their respective sites. The expectation will be to provide original ideas and facilitate use and tools whilst also creating strategy and meaningful analytics.
Plan and implement the firm's forthcoming Intranet upgrade, providing expertise, understanding and management.
Identify and scope other intranet projects to meet firmwide needs, including steering these to a high level of quality and satisfaction.
Lead in the day-to-day operation and management of the intranet.
Build relationships and communication channels to gain the buy-in of stakeholders at all levels. Understand their critical knowledge and data requirements and provide appropriate intranet solutions.
Develop, encourage and support knowledge sharing behavior across firm departments and teams.
Understand and implement relevant security and data privacy, with input and focus on the firm's data management and governance polices.
Manage information architecture and content quality, ensuring a consistent user experience.
Lead and support content editors ensuring they have the knowledge, tools and skillsets required for their roles.
Maintain an excellent understanding of industry best practices and new opportunities that can add business value.
Explore the use of all relevant tools for the intranet and its communities.
Monitor, analyze and provide usage in a meaningful and insightful way.
Work with Global Technology Solutions (GTS) to help provide technical intranet support.
Manage relevant vendor relationships.
Participate in wider Client Value team projects.
Maintain the integrity of firmwide data through promoted best practice.
Act as an ambassador for the team and a champion for process improvement throughout the firm.

Education & Experience
Five (5) years of relevant experience in managing/implementing Intranets, preferably within a law firm or professional services organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Significant experience with SharePoint, including enhancements and tools.
Proficiency with other applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and EXCEL.
Understanding of HTML.
Fundamental knowledge or data management experience within the legal or professional services environment.
Ability to communicate complex issues with clarity.
Ability to prioritize workload and handle pressure, interruptions and multiple concurrent projects.
