Grow and lead a talented engineering team that delivers end point devices and solutions for its customers comprised of Windows, MAC and mobile systems.
Create strategic plans and improvements to systems and processes with emphasis on virtualization. Partners with customers to develop and execute business vision and strategic plan.
Execute strategic plans in collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders. Ability to build Build and establish solid working relationships by providing timely, accurate and high quality information to peers, upper management and/or customers.
Manage resource allocations, planning resource needs & on-boarding new resources to effectively staff the Client Engineering team and accomplish business goals
Ensure effective planning, organizing, prioritizing and delegating assignments to direct reports and team members. Through continual analysis of the workload and personnel needs of their team and organizational unit
Responsible for team results on quality measurements, including on-time delivery, meeting deadlines, and adherence to policy and procedures
Ensure compliance with existing processes and standards
Accountable for automation and deployment of end point solutions assisting in developing Client Engineering roadmap and delivery of the associated initiatives
Coach, mentor and develop a high performing motivated engineering team, providing career development planning and opportunities
Set priority and deliverables of application, participates and recommends the technical direction of the platform
Build and deliver cost effective solutions that can be deployed quickly to our customers and to any platform
5 years of IT management experience
Experience in application packaging and deployments in a team environment utilizing SCCM
Experience building and deploying virtual networks as well as distributed computing
Strong leadership profile and excellent prioritization and negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple streams of work in parallel with aggressive timelines.
Candidate must have strong organizational and leadership capabilities and have solid track record of leading engineering team, automation and delivering enterprise class products.
Technical understanding of the of following technology includes but not limited to Citrix, SCCM, Windows Group policies, Virtualization, Windows and MAC OS, application services. Knowledge of Cloud services a plus
