The Scott County Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Senior Assistant County Attorney. This is a supervisory position for Associate Court. Primary duties include supervision as well as participation in all aspects of trial work including daily court appearances, assistance with investigations and charging of criminal cases, victim and witness contact, and representing the State at hearings and trials.

Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree and be licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa. Experience with prosecution of indictable misdemeanors, especially domestic abuse, is preferred.
Additional Salary Information: Starting salary is $82,148 – $103,376 based upon experience. Top salary is currently $122,886 through annual step increases. Additional cost of living increases are determined on a yearly basis.
