Goldberg Kohn's Information Technology department is seeking an Application Manager. Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Application Manager will be responsible for the timely creation, quality and management of data application coding and principles used in all practice and administrative areas of the Firm. Applications can be developed by third parties or purchased.
Firm support duties include assisting, advising, and supporting managers, directors, and attorneys in practice and administrative areas of the Firm on technology solutions, best practices, integration capabilities for existing or newly acquired Firm systems, and technology aided business/process workflow improvements.
This position requires a high degree of business, technical, organizational and communication skills. Travel may be required. Additional required education and experience includes:
Proficiency utilizing MS Office Suite (on prem, hybrid, and cloud-based)
Detail oriented, self-starter; must be able to manage multiple, competing deadlines and prioritize work accordingly
PMP Certification is required. If not currently certified, then certification must be accomplished within 18 months of hire
Five plus years of experience in a Law firm or other professional service organization in an application management or lead role
Desired Education and Experience:
College Degree with a major in Computer Science or related field of study.
Experience with Elite 3E, SQL, HTML, AWS, Adobe, Java, Agility, System Life Cycle (SLC), UltiPro, OpenText, NetDocuments, Intellistat, WestKM, Record Management Systems and other legal products from Thomson Reuters, Litera, and IntApp.
Litigation support with iBlaze, Summation, Concordance or related software.
Web and Intranet Development Expertise.
