The Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for the creation and generation of detailed reporting and analytics to help the Firm evaluate financial performance, business trends and strategic decisions.
A strong candidate would need to be able to understand complex business processes, gathering requirements, work efficiently and verify their results. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enhance, design and create Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports
Read and write complex queries, ability to create or modify existing reporting content
Connect data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence tools
Validate report functionality and troubleshoot/improve existing reports
Strong communication skills – must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the clients and internal team
Work with analysts to maintain data integrity
Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvements to reporting and processes
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience utilizing and optimizing large data sets
Intermediate/Advanced experience building out Power BI dashboards - include DAX query creation, SSRS and SQL database platform
Knowledge of Aderant Expert database a plus
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommend solutions in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
Comfort in working collaboratively and developing relationships across organizational levels and departments
