The Security Engineer is a full-time position with hybrid work options and will manage and maintain all aspects of IT Security at the Firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Manages the technical aspects of the Firm’s Security Program.
- Assists in establishing policies and practices to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Firm data and Firm’s information assets.
- Manage various areas of our Microsoft 365 Security and Azure Active Directory related to security.
- Manage our vulnerability management program.
- Participate as a member of the Incident Response Team as needed.
- Interacts with firm leadership to ensure that those practices and policies align with the business goals of the firm and meet or exceed accepted industry security standards and practices.
- Researches, implements and manages applications, systems, and methodologies to ensure that the Firm’s technology supports established Firm and industry security standards.
- Manage compliance with firm policies, best practices, processes and procedures.
In-depth skills with vulnerability and patching programs, firewalls, Active Directory and NTFS permissions, incident response, email and internet browsing security are required skills. Additional skills with LAN, WAN, Windows networking, IP networking, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and scripting are beneficial. The candidate must be able to interact with end users at all levels, work independently and creatively, and be able to implement unfamiliar technologies. Depth and breadth in many subjects will be a key factor for a successful applicant. Schedule flexibility and limited travel are required. Bachelor of Science degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience is required.
