We are seeking a detail-oriented, perceptive, enthusiastic Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience for a fast-growing law firm in Temecula to assist with managing a diverse portfolio of matters including business and tax. You will be required to assist in legal research, document drafting, and completing projects in a variety of practice areas. You will be required to interact with clients to gather information and send updates and reminders. To be successful in this firm you must be a multi-tasker and complete tasks in a timely manner. You must be able to work well with a team and be able collaborate and communicate effectively and positively.

The Associate Attorney will answer directly to the Senior Attorney assigned to a particular case.
Duties of the Associate Attorney include but are not limited to the following:
- Discuss cases and negotiate with taxing authorities;
- Review and revise documents and tax collection forms;
- Conduct research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources;
- Draft legal documents, including letters, petitions, business documents and estate planning documents;
- Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and at trial;
- Interact with clients;
- Inform your Senior Attorney about developments in each case;
- Keep confidential records and tax information for clients;
- Understand basic finance and accounting principles;
- Evaluate and assess complicated tax issues;
- Work well with legal assistants, Senior Attorneys and other staff members; and,
- Report on hours spent on each assignment.
