The Opportunity:
- Attorney for commercial contracts team for a rapidly expanding global organization with footprints in the US, EU, Australia and the UK.
- Partner closely with our Sales teams to develop commercial-focused and compliant legal strategies to support achievement of our goals.
- Provide contracting expertise and support contracting software improvements.
- Review and negotiate vendor agreements, including Work on a range of technology and commercial agreements (and related issues and initiatives), including agreements regarding technology development and IP licensing.
- Advise our partners on legal and commercial aspects of customer and vendor agreements, including structuring commercial transactions, and drafting and negotiating commercial and vendor agreements.
- Collaborate closely with human resources team to provide advice and counsel on employment laws in the US, UK, and Australia.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Operations, Finance, Learning & Development, on implementation of policies, procedures, and training modules for employment and commercial compliance.
- Assist in diligence and M&A activities.
What You Bring:
- Innovative and process-driven mindset to lead your initiatives.
- J.D. from a nationally recognized law school
- 1+ years of legal experience with employment and commercial contract legal practices
- Developed updates to commercial sales templates and negotiated high volume of customer terms.
- Provided advice on employment-related legislative and best practices changes.
- Assisted in litigation and/or M&A activities and familiar with diligence or internal risk assessment.
