The Innovation team facilitates solutions that deliver on the firm’s promise of a higher commitment to client care. The addition of a Document Automation Analyst will help scale the firm’s document automation program to additional firm clients and practice groups, by working with the Document Automation Manager to develop, deploy and maintain document automation projects across the firm’s practice areas. This includes engaging with the firm’s attorneys from various practice groups to optimize existing projects and develop new templates for automation. The ideal candidate will be organized, disciplined, and quick to learn new technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain document automation templates with intuitive design to ensure ease of use, minimize manual input and drive efficiency and accuracy of initial draft documents.
Troubleshoot reported errors, identify root cause, and resolve issues reported by users.
Work with stakeholders to ensure templates are consistent with firm/department strategies.
Assist in QA and user testing of existing and proposed document automation projects.
Assist with integration of automation platforms with existing firm systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Hands-on experience developing templates in HotDocs (or other document automation platforms) and/or using document automation templates to draft documents is a big plus, but also is not required.
Ability to effectively prioritize according to need and urgency.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality service and partner effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within the firm as well as external contacts.
Ability to self-manage and work independently in a remote, hybrid, or in-office setting.
Ability to work additional hours beyond stated hours, make adjustment to routine schedule and travel as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
Four-year university degree or equivalent.
Experience working with or within large law firms is valuable, but not required.
