Knox Design Strategy seeks a self-driven Sr. Digital Project Manager / Strategist to join our collaborative team. As an integral part of Knox Design Strategy’s team, the Sr. Digital Project Manager / Strategist’s responsibilities include:
Client management (25%), managing our studio’s project workflow to ensure the big-picture view of how all projects are managed and how current workloads, collectively and individually, impact Knox Design Strategy and our budgets, resources, schedules, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
Project and resource management (30%), including big-picture and day-to-day budget and resource allocation and planning, as well as scheduling development and management for our branding and digital projects (websites, intranet sites, and other applications).
Product strategy (40%), collaborating with stakeholders to define and refine the product vision and strategy. Conducting research and analysis to identify customer needs and competitive landscapes and working closely with the Digital Team to ensure solutions are relevant and aligned with the strategy.
Operations (5%), supporting our studio’s overall short- and long-term operational goals and strategies by helping ensure that our day-to-day processes are running smoothly and efficiently and that, operationally, we continue to grow and evolve to adapt to future studio and project needs and changes.
As our Integrator, the right candidate will be Knox Design Strategy’s steady force, working closely with the Visionary (our Principal) and the collective team to remove obstacles and barriers. The right candidate will support Knox Design Strategy’s overall culture, values, and mission. We are looking for a full-time candidate to work in-office for a minimum of three days per week at our NYC location. Some travel will be required.
5+ years of relevant digital project management experience (and/or certification), ideally within a creative studio or law firm.
Experience planning, developing timelines for, and overseeing complex, long-term digital projects (ideally intranets, websites, and custom applications).
Experience in agile/scrum and waterfall processes.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, including budgets and project schedules.
Strong multitasker, self-motivated, and an independent thinker.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for interacting with people.
Must understand the creative mind and love working with creatives.
Graceful under pressure, yet comfortable with having tough conversations with clients, staff, strategic partners, and vendors.
Versatility, flexibility, and getting things done quickly and accurately are critical requirements.
Experience or interest in writing (particularly proposal writing).
Power user of Asana (or comparable project management tool).
