As a member of the Knowledge and Innovation Department (“K&I”), the Practice Innovation Assistant supports K&I in creating and improving solutions that help lawyers work more efficiently and deliver better client services. The Practice Innovation Assistant administers the firm's collaboration, document automation and machine learning solutions, and assists with innovation projects involving lawyers, clients and vendors. The Assistant also contributes to testing, training, communication and marketing activities to promote the adoption and use of these solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop proficiency with K&I solutions including client extranet, document automation, data analytics and machine learning tools, to support the needs of the department.
· Execute on requests to manage user accounts and content on K&I solutions, and connect with new users of K&I solutions to ensure they have access to necessary training and support.
· Monitor firm usage of K&I solutions and intervene when required to help lawyers make the best use of these tools.
· Review K&I solution usage statistics, aggregate and visualize data and produce reports to highlight trends in adoption.
· Prepare and compile quarterly governance reports and ensure proper record keeping in connection with certifications and annual audits.
· Assist with application testing and troubleshooting efforts, report any issues or suggestions for improvement to the K&I team.
· Support the K&I team in communicating and marketing the benefits and features of new technologies to lawyers and clients.
· Assist in producing collateral for new product pilots including the creation of training materials and test scripts.
· Stay current on new legal technologies by reviewing daily news feeds on new products and peer firm initiatives. Report out to the team any new information relevant to current work or goals.
· Complete other projects as assigned by members of the Practice Innovation team.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:
This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.
SALARY: $55,000 - $60,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
