We are seeking a Manager, HR Technology to join our Chicago, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, or Washington D.C office. This hire will manage all HR technology including HRIS, onboarding, time and attendance, and performance management systems including electronic interfaces with vendors and internal systems. They will lead the development and distribution of critical reports and dashboards containing highly confidential information and act as the lead on HR process improvement initiatives and work with IT and outside vendors on HR software installations, updates and conversions.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead technology resource for the HR team for ongoing support of HRIS, applicant tracking software, new hire on-boarding systems, benefits enrollment software, time and attendance tracking, performance management systems or any other technology based system utilized by the HR team.
Manage security, maintenance and updates of all HR technology systems including working with IT and consultants on troubleshooting and implementation of new software releases and fixes, and future conversions.
Increase the functionality and usability of all HR technology systems including interfaces, workflows, queries and employee self-service to improve department efficiency.
Develop business processes and workflows in HR technology systems to establish standards for security and data entry; create and maintain process documentation, set-up and train new users on HR technology systems. Compile and analyze large amounts of data for report generation and dashboard analytics.
Support HR department in responding to report requests, uploading confidential data into HRIS system and troubleshooting questions with HR adjacent programs.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree required
Minimum 5 years HRIS experience Strong technology skills, including SQL Server (proficiency with database concepts, write queries, write stored procedures, load data); SRSS (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services) and/or Power BI; advanced spreadsheet knowledge (queries and VB Script for writing macros); advanced Crystal Report writing; Smartsheet (Dynamic View, creating forms with conditional logic), document/data merging; some HTML knowledge (for formatting emails within applications) and some ASP.Net knowledge.
Experience leading and/or training a team.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain highly technical matters to those with no technical knowledge.
