The International Legal Technology Association is the leading global organization dedicated to providing education and services to legal technologists as well as creating access for its corresponding business partner community to achieve their strategic sales and marketing objectives. The ILTA Customer Success Manager will lead business partner success initiatives focused on outcomes that result in greater partner engagement and a higher level of sales/renewals.
Basic Function of the Position:
The Business PartnerSuccess Manager (BPSM), based on business partner needs and market trends, will develop and implement tailored strategies designed to strengthen existing business partner relationships and enhance ILTA’s suite of partner benefits. In addition to being responsible for the sale of corporate and event sponsorships to the business partner community, this individual will be involved in all aspects of account management, including partner support and education.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and strengthen assigned business partner relationships. Includes the onboarding of new partners.
Conduct needed market research to identify and prospect new business partners.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. Accountable for the overall satisfaction with the expectation of providing the highest level of customer service.
Ensure business partners maximize their ROI by leveraging all available sponsorship benefits throughout the year.
Achieve revenue objectives by acquiring new partners, renewing exiting accounts and selling other ILTA products and services to assigned partner accounts.
Assist in developing marketing collateral and new sponsorship offerings.
Manage sales pipeline and contracting process.
Responsible for timely payments and collections for all accounts.
Work with business partners and ILTA staff on fulfillment obligations.
Maintain clear, up-to-date records and activities in CRM on all assigned accounts.
Work Experience:
3+ years of sales/marketing and strategic account management (including support).
Experience working with large enterprise customers or vendors.
Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detail oriented.
Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals.
Knowledge of the legal market and developing technologies.
Experience working with key accounts simultaneously including knowing the structure (people and titles) of events and/or marketing departments; troubleshooting and saving accounts.
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred or commensurate experience.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals.
Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. Experience with Excel preferred.
Strong Salesforce and MSOffice skills.
Must work independently and be comfortable working in a remote environment.
