BILLING & REPORTING WITH SSRS 5/13/22
The busy Accounting department of a stable, established, midtown Manhattan law firm seeks a Billing professional hybrid – experience in both processing client invoices and billing-related reporting and analysis using SSRS and Excel with an in-depth understanding of the back-end processes of time and billing systems Elite or Aderant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Billing Coordinator:
- Proforma generation, editing and finalizing client invoices for a group of partners.
- Submit bills via various e-Billing packages (for example, PassPort, Serengeti, TyMetrix and others).
- Assist with month-end close.
- Miscellaneous accounting tasks.
Billing Reporting:
- Produce billing and client-related reports and analysis to support the department and firm.
- Compile monthly client accruals.
Must Haves:
- At least 5 years of recent billing experience on Elite Enterprise in a law firm setting is a must.
- e-Billing Hub experience is a must.
- Mastery of Excel is required – exporting vast amounts of data, manipulating and summarizing using V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Filters, etc. is a must.
- SSRS reporting skills.
- Billing-related reporting and analysis experience with an in-depth understanding of the back-end processes of time and billing systems Elite or Aderant is a must.

Required Skills:
- Excellent organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic with outstanding attendance record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superb interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with Attorneys.
- Proficient in Word.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work hours 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday; additional hours beyond the normal work day are required as needed and overtime is paid.
For NYC-area residents, in-office attendance policy is one day weekly (Thursdays), which will remain for the foreseeable future. Outside of NYC-area, fully remote is possible.
