We are a mid-sized law firm in the energy industry, serving clients across the United States. We have multiple offices across the country. We are seeking a talented Technology Manager to work with our business support team and co-managed IT provider to maintain and support our technical systems.
As our Technical Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our internal IT needs are met on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely with our marketing manager to support the firm's social media and webinar needs. Additionally, you will partner with our outsourced IT provider to assist with any IT projects and assist with any daily IT opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Managing and maintaining the firm's desktop hardware and software applications.
Working with partners and department leads to manage IT budgets and KPIs.
Support technology aspects of office expansions and/or relocations.
Coordinating with our outsourced IT provider to manage and support major IT projects.
Advising on and managing necessary IT program upgrades and rollouts to meet the needs of users from different offices and departments.
Managing and evaluating outside vendor relationships/contracts.
Providing input on technology-based best practices and performing needs assessments.
Supporting the technology aspects of client-facing firm communications (webinars, podcasts, etc.)
Identifying opportunities to train team members and build technology skills.
What You’ll Bring
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
At least five years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of cloud computing and software infrastructure needs for a mid-size to large office.
Experience with Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
Prior experience working in a law firm or other professional services organization is preferred.
