Sullivan & Ward, P.C., a West Des Moines law firm, is seeking a motivated and established litigation attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our growing team. This role would handle varied civil litigation matters for our existing, as well as new clients.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented attorney with experience in civil litigation who can manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable courtroom and trial experience in a supportive environment.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be in the office the majority of the time. The individual hired for this role should be a self-starter and willing to work independently as well as collaboratively.

What you will do in the role

• Assist current attorneys and move to eventual ownership of cases
• Attend court hearings.
• Be the direct point of contact for current clients, draft pleadings and develop further litigation skills and new clientele.

A good fit for this position

• Iowa licensure or bar results pending.

Compensation

$75,000 - 90,000 per year with potential for bonus and commensurate with level of experience.
